Acne Treatments – In Your Kitchen

There are a lot of things around your house that you can use to clear up acne, such as glue, baking soda and mouthwash just to name a few.  Harsh chemicals can be harmful to your skin, be expensive and cause other skin problems.  So take a look in your cabinet and give these solutions a try…Mix some baking soda in a bowl with just enough water to make a paste.  Put the paste on your acne and let it dry on your face.  Take the extra baking soda paste and gently scrub your face.  Baking soda exfoliates the skin and leaves it smooth.

White glue can be used as an inexpensive blackhead strip.  Put a thin layer of glue on your face and let dry.  Peel or wash off.  Avoid the eye and mouth area.

To balance the pH in your skin, mix equal amounts of white vinegar and water in a container,  Dip a cotton ball in the solution and wipe all over your face.  Once the vinegar dries, you won’t smell it anymore.

To bring those pimples to a head, soak tea bags in hot water for a few minutes.  Place the soaked tea bag on the acne and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Neosporin is made to heal wounds and keep infection out, so when you have a pimple, try rubbing a small amount of Neosporin on it for a few nights.

After showering, dip a cotton ball in plain mouthwash and clean your face.  Leave on for 10 minutes or untnil the tingling stops.  Rinse and splash cold water on your face to close the pores you just cleaned out.

Dabbing some honey on your acne and covering it with a band-aid at night will help heal the pimple by bringing it to a head faster.  The honey kills the bacteria in the pimple.

Visine can be used by squeezing some on a cotton ball and gently wiping it over your face.  Make sure the tip of the visine does not touch the cotton ball if you are going to use the visine in your eyes later.

Other items that can help cure your acne is:  Preparation H, and even Vicks VapoRub.  Smooth either of these items on your face and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.  Then wipe clean with a damp rag.  Only use ONE of these items at a time.
