Healing Herbs and What They Can Do For You

There are a lot of Healing Herbs out there that can help you with just about everything, from skin care to healthy heart.  So today, I thought I would go over a few of them…The best Healing Herbs:

  1. Alfalfa:  By adding a couple of alfalfa sprouts on a salad or drink alfalfa tea can act as body cleanser.  It can treat bladder inflamation, bloating, indigestion, constipation and bad breath.
  2. Cayenne Pepper:  Low in energy?  Use some cayenne pepper in your recipes or as a tea.
  3. Chamomile:  Trouble sleeping? Chamomile can help by calming your central nervous system.  It can also help with with indigestion, stomach cramps, gas and ulcers.  You can drink Chamomile several times a day, but be careful it can cause diarrhea, so start with one or two cups and see how what happens before drinking more.
  4. Chaste Tree (Vitex):  This is a wonderful herb for women.  It helps balance out your sex hormones, estrogen and prgesterone.  This will in turn help treat PMS, menstrual cramping, etc.
  5. Dandelion:  Drinking dandelion tea can be used as a diuretic to help with high blood pressure, PMS, menstrual pains, and joint pain.  It is rich in Vitamins A & C and potassium.
  6. Garlic:  Garlic can help with many things…digestive disorders, intestinal disorders, lows blood pressure, and reduces cholesterol.  You can add to your meals, salads or sauces.
  7. Siberian ginseng:  Using as a tea, you can help boost your immune system which can help you NOT get the flu, colds or even help with your exhaustion.
